One of the most highly debated artificial sweeteners on the
market today is aspartame. Found in diet drinks, medications and foods –
commonly called Equal, Spoonful and Nutrasweet – most likely you will not find
more side effects tied to one product than this. Aspartame has caused 75% of
all the food reactions reported to the FDA today. These range from mild
headaches to severe seizures and even death. Symptoms can begin immediately
after ingestion, or can build up over time.
Aspartame contains the following ingredients:
Aspartic Acid (40%): This acid kills neural cells in the
brain – especially more susceptible individuals such as infants, children and
the elderly.
Phenylalanine (50%): This causes emotional disorders and
depression because it decreases the amount of seratonin in the brain.
Methanol (10%): Methanol is wood alcohol, which is a deadly
poison. It can cause misty vision, headaches, ear buzzing, dizziness, nausea,
and more.
Infants, children, the elderly and those suffering from
various weakening health conditions can have a weak blood brain barrier. These
people are more susceptible to the dangers of aspartame because the ingredients
can bleed through the barrier and cause serious damage to the brain. Aspartame
can kill neural cells and cause diseases such as MS, Alzheimers, dementia and
more.
IF YOU ARE
PREGNANT OR NURSING, DO NOT INGEST ANY PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN ASPARTAME.
Young children, the sick and the elderly should also
avoid this product.
It is recommended that a child weighing 27 lbs should never
consume more than 5 mg of aspartame a day. If this child drinks one diet soda
flavored with aspartame and eats one dessert also sweetened with it, he or she
will have consumed 17 mg of aspartame.
In researching aspartame, you will find hundreds of symptoms
linked to aspartame, if not thousands. Some of the more common symptoms you
will find are: headaches, migraines, vision disorders such as blurry vision and
bulging eyes, neurophychiatric disorders such as panic attacks and depression,
fatigue, joint pain, dizziness, confusion, memory loss, brain tumors, numb
limbs, tinnitus, birth defects, nausea, gastrointestinal disturbances, epileptic
seizures and more.
If you are fearful you have aspartame poisoning, contact your doctor and
immediately stop ingesting aspartame. Your physician can order a hair sample to
be tested for toxicity levels, and can also guide you in how to change your
diet.
